The Cooperative Marketing & Advertising Program (CoOp) is a co-funded, co-branded marketing program aimed at growing New Mexico’s tourism economy together by utilizing the strength of the New Mexico True brand. Through customized media strategies tailored to each awarded partner, the CoOp program guides participants through quality marketing and advertising initiatives that align with the New Mexico True brand to achieve effective, optimized results.

Eligible entities applying for CoOp Marketing funds for FY26 (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026) must have completed the online CoOp Pre-Application Survey, MANDATORY for program consideration/participation. Based on your survey responses, you'll receive a customized, web-based Smart Select Marketing™ Menu and instructions via email. You will be required to upload a final PDF version of your completed menu to this application. If you did not receive an email with your custom link, please reach out to concierge@nmtruecoop.org.

Awards are made at the sole discretion of the New Mexico Tourism Department; applications may be funded in whole or in part; some Media Menu Plan (MMP) options have participation parameters and are subject to feasibility.

Applicants can review a wealth of information on the Cooperative Marketing Resources web page.

If this is your first time using the Submittable platform, you will need to create a new account. If you have applied for one of NMTD’s grant programs in the past through the Survey Monkey Apply platform, note that any prior user information will not be recognized by this website.
